ARTIST STATEMENT

I primarily make wire bonsai trees from strands of copper or aluminum wire, which are twisted, bent, and shaped to form roots, branches, and leaves. The trees are paired with other media (e.g., wood, stones, pottery, fiber, and paintings) to create the final pieces.
