An abstractly patterned set of pitcher and cups, in shades of blue, brown, yellow and red.


ARTIST STATEMENT

My work focuses on porcelain forms brought to life through atmospheric firing. The form and surface are carefully handcrafted with the connection to the user in mind. The controlled aspect of making and glazing is dramatically contrasted with the effects from the flame during the firing process.
