ARTIST STATEMENT

I make bandsaw boxes. Each of my boxes highlights the beauty and uniqueness of the wood. I start with a block of wood, and the cuts are done in such a way that the grain is continuous in the final piece. This process can be more sustainable than others by using off-cuts, scraps, or damaged wood.
