ARTIST STATEMENT
Each of my boxes highlights the beauty and uniqueness of of the wood. The process starts with a block of wood and the bandsaw cuts are done in such a way that the grain is continuous in the final piece. This process can be more sustainable than others by using off cuts, scraps, or damaged wood.
