ARTIST STATEMENT
I create wheel-thrown functional-ware pottery, and hand-built, coil-work, vases, and sculptural works in stoneware, earthenware, and porcelain. My work has strong forms and is carved and adorned with expressive patterns and textures. I use slips, washes, and organic glazing techniques.
