A set of handmade plant pots with varying patterns in bright colors such as orange and yellow, one holding a tall, leafy plant.

ARTIST STATEMENT

All work is thrown on a potter's wheel, fired, then is then hand-drawn and hand-painted with wax. This wax repels glaze from soaking into the piece, and what is left is a positive/negative pattern represented by the raw clay body and the glaze. All work is fired in an electric environment.
