BOOTH # 154

A vase in the shape of an abstract human face, holding dried flowers.

ARTIST STATEMENT

For my work, I use slip trailing & Mishima techniques to achieve a drawn look, much like ink on paper. I use black underglaze for the line work, which is then followed by various underglazes that I water down for a water colored effect. I mainly use porcelain, because it resembles paper.
