ARTIST STATEMENT

I practice the craft of letterpress printing, which uses individual metal and wooden letters and images (“type”), hand-operated presses, and fine papers. I use both antique and newly cast type to create unique artwork rooted in the history of printing, particularly in the Jewish tradition.
