A pair of ovular teal-inlaid earrings in decorative metal frames.


ARTIST STATEMENT

I begin the process of creating my jewelry with wax. I work organically and intuitively by shaping, forming, building, and melting wax, allowing the material to guide me. I get the wax cast into metal and then continue to finish it with added metalworking, oxidizing, polishing, or stone setting.
