ARTIST STATEMENT

I create watercolor and ink paintings depicting the bathymetry (the depths and shapes of underwater terrain) of our beloved lakes. I paint using collected lake water from each lake in each painting. I've painted over 150 lakes, mostly in Minnesota. I take commissions for lakes I haven't yet painted.
