The Yin Yang symbol represents the struggle between two points of view - but is also used to represent the male/female elements of our nature. But sexuality is not truly binary - which is why this design has three elements. It reminds me to be aware, and to better understand the people around me. I use a mix of different burls because the complex grain and intense colors seems fitting! The makore background is quieter, and muted. The birch background lets the symbol be the center of attention!
