A friend who is in the tree care business called me one day about this piece of wood he had from trimming a large Box Elder Tree. The spirit of this fallen tree was calling out to me, I picked it up and brought it home. It as such an experience to see the wonder of this tree reveal its secret to me as I turned the wood. The base of the bowl shows us a flower design that I have never seen before. No words can tell you what I felt as its quiet secret came to life.
