Artist: Jeanine Malec
Ancestral Weave: This object is a slipcast ceramic egg with a wax-resist design written in beeswax using a traditional Kistka tool for making Pysanky eggs. The patterns employed are maze, labyrinth and weaving designs meant to be contemplated as visual metaphors for the complexity we see before us now and finding a path to the other side. Stand not included.
