ARTIST STATEMENT
I make functional stoneware pottery, both wheel thrown and slab built. My electric fire work uses dark stoneware clay decorated with slip and underglaze. The fine drawn line is created by carving through the painted underglaze. My wood fired work is decorated with sprigs and stamps.
