ARTIST STATEMENT
I create my stoneware clay pieces on the potter’s wheel or hand built. For functional ware, I use an electric kiln. For decorative pieces, I use alternate firing techniques: Raku, Naked Raku, Horse hair, Saggar. My clay sculptures are hand built and finished with either glazes or a cold finish.
