Opening Ceremonies
Each day the Powderhorn Art Fair will begin with an opening ceremony to celebrate art and community. Join us in honoring community members and artists alike. Take a moment to check out Flags Up For, an installation of flags featuring people, places, and ideas that the community wants to honor.
In 2022, ceremonies will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the Family Zone in the northwest section of Powderhorn Park.

We're Back In the Park & Grateful
The Powderhorn Art Fair is back in Powderhorn Park for 2022! Our ceremonies this year are rooted in gratitude for the community members and artists who went above and beyond during the pandemic.
2019 -2021 Award-Winning Artists
After two years away, we'll be taking the chance to honor Powderhorn Art Fair award winners from the past three years (2019 - 2021) in person.

PPNA & local flag aficionado, Peter Haakon Thompson, are teaming up to help the community create and roll out a sea of flags in honor of the people, places, and ideas that are making a difference in our community. Join the movement and your flag will be part of a powerful and one-of-a-kind display at this year’s Powderhorn Art Fair dedicated to everything worth raising a flag too!

MAKE & TAKE EVENT
Join Peter Haakon Thompson and ReThink Tailoring & Sewing Lounge at Powderhorn Park on Tuesday, July 26th from 6-8 PM to make your own flag! Meet to the north of the Recreation Center to participate.
Flags will be displayed at the Powderhorn Art Fair opening ceremonies and pick it up to take home after the fair.
