Always a pleasure to be at Powderhorn-one of the most caring and involved shows I participate in! Loved the neighborhood involvement-we met a number of residents over the weekend, and as usual the level of art is outstanding! Thanks for making a great show happen in a beautiful urban enviornment!
A huge thank you to Dixie and all of the wonderful volunteers who helped us at the show…I severly fractured my ankle in July, and would have cancelled, but the staff assured me they would help with set up and takedown, and in between. I am unable to walk at all for another 2+ weeks (we’ll see) and I could never have done the show. Brought a helper who was great, but had never set up a Craft Hut tent, or a booth…so was critical to have help. Staff also stopped by often to check on me and took me up to the rest room a couple times during the rain. Thank you to all!!!
Also the artist next to us (copper trees…forgot his name sorry) for occasionally watching my booth and for helping us during take down. I
have been doing shows for over 30 years from Kansas City to Baltimore, and I think the people in the Midwest really are the most thoughtful and helpful!! Beautiful Park also…Thanks!
This was our first art fair ever, and we are absolutely ecstatic with how well it turned out. We had several goals in mind before attending this event – meet other cool artists, network and meet a lot of fantastic art lovers, gain the experience of participating in an art fair, and sell some art. Check, check, check and check! Thank you so much for hosting an amazing event. We heard from the other artists that Powderhorn is one of the best art fairs out there, if not their absolute favorite that they participate in each year. Now that we’ve gotten our feet wet, we’re really excited about the future and hope to be regular participants at Powderhorn in the years to come!
I have been doing Art Fairs for a number of years but this was my first time at Powderhorn Art Fair. What a pleasant surprise it was. Everyone was so cheerful and helpful. I especially appreciated someone being at the entrance morning and night. The booth sitters are important to me as I usually work alone. Thanks again to everyone that helped out. I Hope I will be back next year.
Powderhorn is a true Art Festival!
the organization was great as usual. the volunteers and staff were very helpful, especially to us who do shows alone. I hope to be back next year; this is one of my more enjoyable settings for an art fair,and not so sprawled out like the big one uptown. just one question for those who don’t take credit cards yet; could there be an ATM machine onsite next year or is that a hassle you don’t want to deal with? thanks,again, bob
This was my first year at the Powderhorn Art Fair and I hope it is not my last. A very well organized show – all the volunteers were fantastic!! The entertainment was very nice and I know we all appreciated the “Artist’s Lounge” . Thanks to all who made this such a success.
