Directions to Powderhorn Park

The Powderhorn Art Fair is located in beautiful Powderhorn Park in South Minneapolis. The park is situated between Chicago Avenue and Bloomington Avenue, and between East Lake Street and East 35th Street. The park is four blocks south of the Minneapolis Greenway (13th Avenue entrance), and two blocks south of bus line 21A, which connects with the Hiawatha Light Rail Line just one mile to the east. The Park is easily accesible from interstate Highways 35W (35th-36th or Lake Street exit), or 94 (Cedar Avenue Exit).

Road Alert: Interstate lane closings are scheduled in the Twin Cities for Art Fair Weekend. All lanes of eastbound Interstate 94 between I-694 and Hwy. 55 in Minneapolis are closed through 5 a.m. Monday. Motorists are advised to detour around the closures via I-394 and Hwy. 169. more…

Ride free on the Vita.mn Art Hop!

Minneapolis will host three art fairs the first weekend in August. Visit them all in air-conditioned comfort on the free Vita.mn Art Hop.

On Saturday, Aug. 8, and Sunday, Aug. 9, you can ride free between the Loring Park Art Festival, Uptown Art Fair, Powderhorn Art Fair and the Lake Street/Midtown light-rail station – avoid the hassles and expenses of driving and parking!

Hop on a FREE Vita.mn Art Hop bus at any fair or at Lake Street/Midtown station. Buses leave each stop about every 20 minutes.

  • Saturday, Aug. 8, 10 am – 6 pm
  • Sunday, Aug. 9, 10 am – 5 pm
